Teeth Whitening
Professional tooth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discolored teeth. There are many causes for discolored teeth. The most common is age and consumption of staining substances (coffee, tea, soft drinks, and tobacco), trauma and old restorations. Most people can benefit from tooth whitening; the degree of whitening will vary from patient to patient. Tooth Whitening is very safe when under the supervision of a dentist.
What is the Process of bleaching?
Impressions of your upper and lower teeth will be taken. This will
allow us to make a custom fitting whitening tray. You will be given
whitening gel and specific instructions on how to use the gel and how often. We
will continue to see you every 2-3 weeks until you reach your desired shade. The
results are safer, gentler and more long-lasting than those of strips or
in-office “power” bleaching.
